Rose Bowl BMW Thread, #8 tOSU vs #1 Oregon

I'm feeling fairly confident about this ballgame. I think the time off before the Tennessee game allowed them to sort of reset their run game accounting for all the injuries/ position changes. It's hard to do that midseason. The first game we were -3 on turnovers if you count the kickoff. Have to assume that won't happen again. Bottom line is, we have more talent. If we handle our business we should win.

I’d like to see 35-0 at half.
11 field goals. We drive down to the 3-yard-line and kick field goals every drive.
Then, with 30 seconds remaining in the half, our D-line chases what's-his-name into the endzone where they throw him 5 rows up into the seats.
Oregon is supposed to get the ball to start the second half, but opt to kick off, instead.

What was the other turnover (besides Judkins)? ESPN mentioned Downs but I don't remember him fumbling. Did they count the onside kick as a fumble? Didn't think they would as you'd have to possess it, right? Otherwise it's just a live ball being recovered.

Oregon was credited with 2 fumble recoveries, including that kickoff.

It could happen.

I’m getting too optimistic. I come to the BMW page to get a dissenting view and and get more sunshine. Where is the lamentation over 5 stars playing like 3 stars? Where is the concern over offensive game plan? Do I have to wait for the first drive?

Shall I even things out?

NGL, I love this thread for you. Not a knock, and totally sincere.
