Oregon fans blame CFP system for loss to the Ohio State football team
The Ohio State football team smoked Oregon in the College Football Playoff and fans fo the Ducks are blaming the loss on the CFP system.

Oregon fans blame CFP system for loss to the Ohio State football team
The Ohio State football team smoked Oregon in the College Football Playoff and fans for the Ducks are blaming the loss on the CFP system.
When the final College Football Playoff rankings were released, Ohio State football fans were not happy. They had the toughest route to get to the national championship of any team. They had to go through Tennessee, then Oregon, and possibly Texas to get to that final game.
The Buckeyes made mincemeat of the Vols and crushed the Ducks in the Rose Bowl. Now they do get that matchup with Texas in the Cotton Bowl for the right to go to the National Championship Game. Instead of the Buckeye fans being mad, the Ducks fans are the ones who are mad.
Oregon fans are now blaming the College Football Playoff system for the loss to the Ohio State Buckeyes instead of the team itself. They are mad that they had a three-week layoff while the Buckeyes had to play a game against someone else, forgetting that Ohio State had the same layoff prior to the first-round game vs. the Vols.

Fans of the Ducks are also complaining that even though they got the one-seed, they had to go against this great Ohio State team in their first Playoff game. They think they should have gotten more of a reward for going undefeated and winning the Big Ten Championship...
The Ducks did get a reward. They got a ton of rest in what has been a grueling college football season. Ohio State is the one who got the raw deal. Instead of getting the seven-seed and being ranked ahead of Penn State despite a head-to-head win at Penn State, they got the eight-seed and had this tough road.
The Buckeyes then decided they were going to focus on being the best possible team they could be. That led them to two blowout victories. Instead of Oregon fans blaming the system, they should blame their team for not having a game plan to stop Will Howard and the Buckeye passing attack.

I can't imagine paying that much to go see my team play in the Rose Bowl and leaving early, regardless of the score. Hell, I wouldn't leave any game early. Fucking quitters.
