I think so too, as it's highly unlikely that he goes from kevin millar-type stats (5hr, .257 avg at end of June) to a 14 hr month of July naturally. Watching him early in the season he was quite skinny, and could not catch up with the heater. Then in the July series vs. the Sox he looked like a completely different player. My guess on the excuse: "I think Gay-rod must have grabbed the wrong cream, I knew something didn't feel right." :biggrin:

God i hope not...i would cry myself to sleep....That said if clemens ever did test possitive then it would be the biggest possible story. Bonds and Giambi are known commodities, no more shock value. With the way that roger is pitching and now being mentioned as one of/ if not the greatest ever on a daily basis it would be the biggest story since the summer of '61 or maybe when hank broke ruths record.

Very reliable poster on the main baseball board I frequent says he's heard one or more of the following: Delgado, Gagne or Sosa. Also says there are 5-6 appeals in the works right now for busted players that will be public soon but I think thats out now anyway.

FWIW he was on this story over a week ago.
