I picked up Guitar Hero World Tour entire set yesterday and I am pleasantly surprised. I've enjoyed the game in the past and found the whole set for $69 at a local electronics store that buys equipment from the big electronic boys so I figured I might as well. The drums are fun and hearing my wife sing is priceless.

$69! Where and for what system?

I never really understood the venom some fans of RB feel for GH. I like both. Each does something better than the other. GH:WT is an extremely fun game, and nothing beats the Hendrix downloads. RB has by far a better DLC lineup and better note tracking, but GH's DLC has some high-quality songs, and I love holding one note while having to play others.

Little electronics store here in OKC, for all systems.

I went on the GHTunes section last night and there are a ton of songs to download for free that are user made. There are some cool ones, but difficult. I'm not much of a music afficionado, so I only like the songs I am familiar with. I will say the drumming is fun, but I am not real impressed with the sensitivity or lack-thereof with it. It will miss notes that hit; not a ton but every now and then.

I started on GH and then got RB. I enjoy them both. I pop in the disc for the songs I want to play, not because one game is better than the other.

RB has a far superior setlist and downloadable content, but GH has some good stuff, too.

To me, GH is more fun to play (I know people will disagree with me), but I just like all the bells and whistles. It looks better, has real musicians (Metallica, Ozzy and Wylde, Hendrix, Sting, Slash, and others appear in their games), and just looks more polished.

Thanks for your info. I saw the new Guitar Hero has a Sublime track, thats awesome!!! Do you remember if any of the games did any Bob Marley and the Wailers?

Ive been going through the wikipedia RB and GH links. No Zeppelin tracks either? Thats too bad. Maybe they will release a Led Zeppelin Guitar hero in the future. Thats pretty sweet they are releasing an all Beatles game in September!!!!
