Robert Smith is an asshole. Just when it took me over a decade to forgive him for the last debacle, he comes out with this crap. Look, if you have any guts at all, your response should be one of two things:
A.) I did or did not recieve improper benefits
or
b.) Say nothing at all.
But to answer c.) "Oh, there were players receiving money, BUT I WASN'T ONE OF THEM," is gutless, spineless, immature, and classless. It goes to show me that this kid has as little loyalty as he had back in '90. Its the easy way out and tries to portray himself as the 'holier than thou perfect kid in a sea of piss.' Give me a break. This kid speaks out of the other side of his mouth: remember when football wasn't important, and he was gonna be a doctor? Two years later, and goodbye college, hello NFL millions.
Robert, do me a favor and shut the F up forever. You have no loyalty to this University, your home state, the team, or to anyone else besides yourself for that matter. Go away, and stay away. In my eyes, there is one difference between this slime and a punk like Maurice: Smith has the book smarts to excel in school. Nothing more. He's as arrogant, immature, and as morality-depraved as Clarett. I am ashamed that this kid ever wore a Buckeye jersey and attended my University.
