Alright since I don't troll jackasses on Craigslist directly, I'm going to do it even more cowardly.... And do it here.

Alright... So here's the dbag of the month on CL Columbus.

https://columbus.craigslist.org/bik/5394577885.html

And here's the details should he ever give up on this stupidity.

Pinarello Style Carbon 56cm Road Bike - Full New Ultegra 6800 11 Speed - $2800 (Gahanna)

For sale is a freshly built bike based on a carbon frame similar in geometry to the fantastic Pinarello F8 road bike. I built this as a project to see if I could do it, and the result is the best riding road bike I have been on.

I am selling it to build another with a Di2 drivetrain. This bike was finished in October and tuned at Bicycle One in Gahanna to perfection. It has one test ride on it to make sure everything works perfectly.

The Ultegra 6800 group is the latest from Shimano and is as good as Dura Ace with just a small weight penalty. It shifts and brakes beautifully.

Bike build details:
Full Ultegra 6800 eleven speed drivetrain
Ultegra 6800 Brakes, STI shift levers, chain, bottom bracket
Ultegra 6800 eleven speed 11-25 cassette
Ultegra 6800 Chainset with 175mm arms and 39-53 chain rings

Pinarello F8 style handle bars with an integrated 110mm stem, 440mm bar width.

Ultegra Carbon pedals will be included if the bike is sold for the reasonable and fair asking price.

The bike weighs 17.6 pounds as you see it here.

The selling price for this bike is $2800.

I am in no rush to sell this bike and will keep it until I can get my asking price. If you know what you're looking at you know how good of a deal this is.

So. Other than the deliciously ironic last line, if you know what you're looking at, you know what a good deal this is. Yeah, I'm looking at a chinarello with fake cosmics, that from the pics, any moron can see it's a fake. I've never seen knock off ultegra, but there's so much crap here, even that seems iffy.

So, my question is, what you guys think we got here?

Did this idiot think he was getting a real dogma frame from Ali express for $500 and think he was getting himself an 8k bike for 2, then get to the bike shop and find out that in fact it's not just marketing?

Look, I don't mind the Chinese stuff, actually the Taiwan stuff is pretty good, some of it. But why we gotta put fake stickers on crap. I want to email this clown and tell him when his China builds win 11 tours de France, I'll give him 3 K for one of them.
