It was actually his sophomore season that is currently hurting him the most. Phenomenal as a freshman, putrid as a sophomore (others who follow Ohio HS football more closely may know how much was him vs. the team around him), and then this past year he was solid. Not a stud, but solid. We'll know next year if he can be the next great Buckeye QB or potentially a guy OSU took a tad too early. I actually wouldn't hate to go after the Texas AM QB from the same HS as Garrett. If Texas AM has another bad year we could flip him and he has the feel of a Johnny Football type of player. As long as he's Johnny Football on the field and not off, he could be a great college QB. It would also help with Tyjon Lindsey.Clark's season did him little favors. He didn't put up the video game numbers that make rankings jump. And he does few camps outside of OSU. Still an amazing start
Edit: And to clarify, I mean I wouldn't hate if they take two QBs. Not getting rid of Clark. And I'm not sure how much I like the idea since it's already a small class. That, and Clark is such a great recruiter and great kid that it wouldn't feel right. But Urban will do what's best for the team. If Clark shows early next year that he may not have "it" like many originally thought, I could see them going after another QB if he's the right guy.
