I've learned that much of these rankings revolves around around how much you choose to play "the game."

I see plenty of guys on that list that have no business being considered one of the best 100 HS football players in America or are ranked way too high.

However, they played the game and were rewarded accordingly...while others were left off because they did not play "the game."

Game footage doesn't lie...combines do.

A very typical early season list with most of the players being from the South, Texas, and California... it is always like this and is bs. No love for the Northern states... it is like all the high school players should just move to the southeast.

My feelings exactly. I will take a solid player on film over someone who blows up combines. Not sure how impressive Homan was last year at the combines but he wasn't in the Rivals top 100 but I felt he may have been up with the top LB's in the country.
