Rich Rodriguez (official thread of last laughs)

As Steve19 said, it's not at all fun watching a guy fail so thoroughly and miserably in public. I don't like what I see of him, but that doesn't mean we should wish strife on him. The guy is a human being....a father....a husband. Frankly, I think the guy is in serious financial trouble and has screwed his family over big time....and he knows it.

If there is such a thing as karma, he is surely experiencing it.

He took a big old dump on his alma mater, home state, and the program. Then he had the audacity to try to avoid paying the financial penalty.

A monumental failure

Two things, first, normally it's not at all fun watching a guy fail so thoroughly and miserably in public. Yet at the same time, you can't help but look. It's like watching a train wreck, you can't stop looking. And that's "normally". In this case though, because it is who it is, DickRod, and because of what he does, coach Michigan football, it is indeed ALL fun watching this specific person utterly fail.

Second, even if DickRod were someone we didn't care about one way or another because of his affiliations, he is, as you point out, simply getting what he deserves. There have many times been whole paragraphs devoted to describing his screw-ups. This is a rare instance where it really is all the guy's fault, and in so many ways. DickRod can't point at the powers-that-be and say "it's their fault, I didn't do anything wrong." :sob: 100% of the liability lies squarely on his shoulders. Here on Buckeye Planet, the posters label things, or even one another "fail", sometimes in jest, sometimes not. When Clarity gets the BP dictionary up and running, there will be only one choice as the definition of fail.
DickRod = Fail.

Fuck him. Fuck Michigan. :scum4:

I have no problem hoping he fails and gets fired. He's going to make more money this year than I probably will in the next twenty, and he'll always be able to get another job-and win-just about anywhere else.

I'd rather watch tOSU beat a real "Michigan man" than this mercenary...

I must really be out of the mainstream as I had never heard of Josh Groban nor his song before this glorious occasion.

Lol

Surprised Barwis didn't try to perform it acapella. Is that Michigan's defense providing the backup vocals?

Has this clown done one thing right in three years? I'm looking for one thing. Just one...

Well, he hasn't gotten sauced and punched out any waiters or policemen at the Excalibur in the midst of a domestic dispute, so he's got that going for him.

At least that is manly. This clown made everybody join hands and sway to a pussy soft-rock song while weeping like a little girl. GBYBM-YMSOB.

To be very honest, I don't like to see anyone's life implode. There is an incredible sadness in those pictures. The body language of just about everyone, including his wife, says that they are running for the exits. It is so totally embarrassing for him and everyone around him.

And what is it with this guy and the waterworks? Wow. Just wow. Tell me that, no matter how much you hate them, you ever thought you'd see TSUN football come to this.

I say give the guy another three years. If he doesn't have it sorted out by then, give him a pizza franchise and send him on his way.
all joking aside the schembecler family has made a killing with their extensive pizza franchise in columbus... (millions)
