if you guys are bashing him this bad now i can only imagine what will be said after he leaves columbus with a big ten championship this november.

Really? You think that's even a remote possibility? Against a coach who is 6-1 against Michigan and who thinks about The Game 365 days a year? Against a team loaded to the rafters with NFL talent and returning virtually the entire team that went to the NC game?

bad press sells papers. i don't believe anything that doesn't come from him.

We are anxiously awaiting RR's attorney to give the go ahead to release RR's deposition. You remember RR's attorney, the man who is on a mission to discover the truth. Why is he dragging his feet on releasing this deposition? You also remember Mike Brown, RR's agent who stated many times in the press that he will drop a bombshell when the court proceedings get into high gear. Poor Mike. He was deposed on Friday, and when asked to comment about his testimony, told the press that he must first speak with his attorney. I wonder what happened that he must first speak with his attorney given the fact that his mouth had been in high gear up until Friday.

It's obvious to me at this point that you're just trying to cause a stir. If you honestly think your statement is a good statement, then I'm not even sure how to end this sentence.

(I didn't have to go to class, after all)

im serious. look at the whole "paper shedding thing" WVU said the stuff couldn't be replaced. when it turned out it was just his own personal copies and that other WV admins had the exact stuff. WV is just trying to tarnish his good name.

Bull.

RR has had a rough name since Clemson. The only difference was that he was a minor character at WVU...now the stage is bigger as is the spotlight and audience.

He is a heck of a coach and offensive mind...but he is rough around the edges.

What about the whole "Hey, I'm going to leave my team before arguably the biggest game in school history" thing?

Walking out on kids that he recruited is far worse than destroying paper. Not only does that question his loyalty (remember - he was a WVU graduate, ex-player, born in WV), it questions everything else about his character.

Then when he does get to Michigan, he throws Boren under the bus in the media. These words came directly from his mouth - no bad press here. 99% of the coaches in the NCAA would wish a kid well after leaving. Not Rich Rodriguez. His ego prevents him from doing this.

EDIT: And about the alumni thing. One of Michigan's alumni started a scholarship fund based around the number 1. Did you hear about that, or are you just ignoring it because it's bad?

That alumni was Braylon Edwards, and this is a direct quote from him:

“He’s getting that call soon -- very soon. Exactly, we have a jersey scholarship fund for this whole deal. What is he thinking?”

Mmm, well either the attorneys, agents and client are now leery of putting their testimony in front of the public eye, on principal, or something more serious could have happened.

Like say, the agent or the coach offering contradictory statements;
Or, one or the other not handling their Q&A session well at all and letting slip something that is seriously damaging to their cause.

(Rascist claims against WVU fabricated, TSUN bail-out of WVU contract $4 Mill was always likely, Advice to RR from agent that the $4 Million at WVU was in his best interest - as long as they can get WVU to fire him -- All of the above being completely hypothetical).
