Rhode Island vs. Ohio State at Uncasville, Conn., Saturday, 5:30 PM ESPN3

Kevin Warren is an ass
I thought I better get this thread up before everyone is paying attention to the Wisconsin game:wink:

Direct from the Mohegan Sun Arena

A little capsule of the team that the Buckeyes might be playing. It has already been noted that Washington lost to Albany last night so this does not look like a very strong field to say the least. After the Buckeyes take care of Rhode Island they will play the winner of Washington/Seton Hall on Sunday, 4:30 p.m. on ESPN2.
The Hall of Fame Tip-Off continues for OSU this weekend with Rhode Island of the Atlantic 10 and either Seton Hall of the Big East or Washington of the Pac-12. Rhode Island lost its opener at home to Norfolk State on Friday and lost at Virginia Tech 69-50 last night. Seton Hall defeated Missouri-Kansas City on Friday and beat Norfolk State 78-65 at home last night. Washington beat Loyola (Md.) on Sunday and plays host to Albany tonight.
Basketball

It will be interesting to see if Craft continues his excellent three-point shooting and if Thomas continues to shoot:biggrin2:

Mohegan Sun. Built by my former neighbor, of Sun City fame, Sol Kerzner. The son of Russian Jewish immigrants to South Africa during the run up to WWII. What a career that guy had.

Make Steve19 happy Bucks, blow out Rhode Island in a little piece of South Africa!

The game Saturday will be the first time the Buckeyes have played the Rhode Island Rams on the hardwood.

This game could be a walk in the park.
Ohio State could be in for another big defensive effort Saturday against a Rhode Island squad that has shot 31.3 percent while losing its first two games under first-year coach Dan Hurley.

The Rams missed all but one of their 21 3-point attempts during a 69-50 loss at Virginia Tech on Monday.

The Buckeyes are facing Rhode Island for the first time in the semifinals of this event. The winner will face either Seton Hall or Washington in Sunday's championship game.

Forward Nikola Malesevic and guard Xavier Munford are averaging 16.0 points apiece for the Rams, who have lost 23 straight games against Top 25 opponents dating to a 70-63 victory over No. 21 Utah on Dec. 2, 1998.

I can't even get ESPN3 to work on my computer, something about insufficient flash player. This is going to be a big blowout anyway because Rhode Island is awful, as in "if the over/under for minutes for Della Valle in this game is at 10, I would take the over" awful.
