Reverend Dabo Swinney (HC Clemson Tigers - GSCS), random mid-century cars, and steroids

Haha guys... I know. You all are taking this too literal. It's a fairly common saying.
Then why should we ever take anything you say seriously? Should everyone put you on ignore so you can shout hyperbole into the abyss?

You do make some really great points sometimes, but it’s hard to engage when you also go full chicken little at any sign of trouble, and then basically brush off your hyperbole with “oh it’s a common saying.”

College teams totally flip their rosters every 4 years. I don't see how this "never going to beat them ever" stuff has any relevance.
exactly.

On defense, osu went from elite to good to laughable to very good in a 4 year span. This fifth year they are somewhere between alright and solid, thanks to really strong DT/LB raising the average.

There was a seismic shift after each season except 16 to 17.

I sort of have to or everyone will hate me lol JK..I already have a good 5-10 who clearly aren't fans of what I say on pretty much anything which is sadly not hyperbole.

That said I'm not backing away from anything here I'm clarifying that obviously I don't mean we won't ever beat Clemson if we dont this game. Only that the conditions are probably not going to get better than this to beat them.

Am I really saying anything wild or is it the handful or so diehards that I have taking everything too literal? Not sure what else to say other than you guys are stating the obvious so clearly I didn't mean that literally.

All but one of the 61 coaches who vote in the USA Today coaches poll ranked Ohio State as one of the six best teams in the country.

Dabo Swinney, in his final ballot ahead of the Ohio State-Clemson Sugar Bowl, voted the Buckeyes at No. 11. He put them behind Alabama, Clemson, Notre Dame, Texas A&M, Florida, Georgia, Cincinnati, Oklahoma, Iowa State and Coastal Carolina.

All of the 60 other coaches put them at No. 6 or higher, and all but two of them – Swinney (No. 11) and Georgia's Kirby Smart (No. 6) – had Ohio State between No. 2 and No. 5. Of the 61 coaches who vote in the poll, 46 ranked the Buckeyes as one of the top-four teams in the country after championship weekend concluded. Notre Dame's Brian Kelly slotted them in at No. 4 and Alabama's Nick Saban had them at No. 5.

I think one of the differences for Clemson has been their stability in their staff, ie Venebles. We have had some clown show situations thanks to Urbs loyalty. If we had Hafley for a decade I don't think our D would have or would fluctuate like it has. I am not 100% sold on Combs yet.
