[strike]Some folks have so many of the golden buckeyes that posts were being pushed outside of the boundaries of the site.

As a temporary fix, I've adjusted how much the little gems are worth. Your reputation total has not changed.

Dark greens used to be worth 1000, now they're 5000.
Light greens used to be worth 2500, now they're 10000.
Golds used to be worth 10000, now they're 25000.

This is a patch to a deeply flawed system, and putting it back the way it was is as easy as changing those values, so don't panic. :)[/strike]

The temporary measure to allow me to work on iframes and tables served its purpose, I restored the old values.

The higher people's values get, the more rep they give when they dole it out. It's a never ending circle of nonsense, the way they designed it, but newbies (I can see your post, Gator! :biggrin: ) should still get rep quickly.

This isn't a good fix, just raising the pip value, which is why I called it temporary, but something needed to be done. Left alone, you'd have to scroll right just to read normal posts even at high resolutions.
