Quick question-- As far as when someone gives you rep, is it a courtesy, or somewhat expected that you give them rep in return in the near future?? That's just what I've always assumed.

Just adding in my .02 here, LadyB, but I generally feel the same way, that rep received should be returned. But, what I do is I wait until the person who repped me makes a post that I would rep for anyway. What receiving rep does for me is make me pay more attention to posts made by that person so that I find one faster that deserves rep back. If that makes sense?

I don't feel that if I rep someone randomly for something that they should come back at me with rep, however, so its a bit of a "double standard" for me I guess.
