Remake of "Enter the Dragon" under way

The only way I would possibly even consider this is if Brandon were still alive and reprising his father's roll as a tribute.

Otherwise?

...May anyone involved with this travesty live in interesting times.

PS - Anyone think they'll try to get Bolo Yeung & Sammo Hung to reprise their rolls from the original?

The thing is, Bruce Lee's movies are great, why? Because they have Bruce-Fucking-Lee. He didn't need special effects, he didn't need his motions spead up, he was that good. I don't think anyone can be what he was, and a special-effect movie where they enhance someones speed to make them look that fast isn't going to work. The kung-fu was great, the story was great, it's a fucking classic. I am actually kind of disturbed that they would try to harm the legacy of him. I don't want kids saying "Oh you mean Jet Li, yeah he was awesome in Enter the Dragon" because I will have to choke-a-bitch and that wouldn't be good for my career.

I think they should remake Game of Death instead...with Shaq as Hakim, Royce Gracie filling Han Jae Ji's roll.

Muck, oddly enough, they did kind of remake G.O.D.

About 5 years ago, they found a lot of missing footage from the movie combined with Bruce Lees editing notes. They re cut the movie along with the missing footage and put together a documentary about it. Pretty good stuff.

Bruce Lee in G.O.D.: Shibôteki yûgi (2000) (V)

A remake of Enter the dragon would be the king of suck. The only "version" of it that is worth anything is the spoof in Kentucky Fried Movie.
