Reggie Bush (Heisman Winner)

I was not aware of that, but I did hear they are handicapped by strict academic requirements so therefore their cumulative team SAT/ACT score is phenomenal.
Does anybody else think that NDChief is actually Paul Hornung? I mean after he quit Pro football, he was the Sports editor for the Dispatch for a few years, right? That would explain why he's on this Buckeye board talking about ND all the time. And their comments often make about the same amount of sense.

Sarcasm-detector note - I do realize that those were 2 different Paul Hornungs.

Turn the rep off and the red bar will disappear. Then nobody will know you got gang banged - but they will suspect it.

That said, I have to ask about this quote -

He played in the National Championship game. Where DO you live?
Actuallly, I did watch that game, but it was dominated by Lienhart and LenDale (white?). I remember getting ready to watch the game and see Reggie Bush, but he didn't do much on kickoff/punt returns and he wasn't as impressive as I thought he would have been.

As for the rest of you, some of the sarcastic remarks actually made me laugh.
" Well I've never really seen Ohio State play...but I have watched some highlight films.

I think they are overrated and do not play anyone though."
xD

And then I got lost about wtf you guys were talking about. -_-'

Bush single-handedly beat Virginia Tech last year who, in addition to being champs of the new ACC, have a stellar defense every year.
i wouldn't say single-handedly... the refs definitely had a hand in the outcome... that bogus offensive PI call was maybe the worst call of the entire season...

hey BKB... i think you should change your sig...

i dunno about you, but having a bunch of pussy all on my nuts ain't a bad thing.... HOMO... :p

Point taken... It's temporary anyway, til I come up with something else. Was getting tired of the old sig.

the Hoosiers maybe, but NOT NU or the Illini... both of them have been to a BCS or BCS level Bowl Game in the last ten years, which is more than any service academy can say since 1944...

come on Tibor, you gotta come up with some better smack than that...

I've heard a lot about this guy, but I never saw him paly due to where I live...I searched for a couple of videos and found a few that people made, all about reggie. After watching, I can't say that I'm very impressed. He has very nice cuts, but the oppoents are just terrible. Its very rare for USC to play against ranked teams, and thus, its easier for them to go to the nationals. I remember a few years back when Cal (nor USC) was ranked as high as #3, but got raped in their bowl game. So anyway, is Reggie Bush really as amazing as they say, or does he just look better because his opponents can't tackle as well as other good defensive school? I think he's overrated personally, but prove me wrong. :)
Just to put yor actual statement in context, because you backpedaled a lot later (compare the second bold section to this):
"That being said, he is still one of the best in the country, regardless of position, and is electrifying every week."

<!-- / message --><!-- controls --> I don't doubt that its true.
You can't pretend like you were being nice to him at all. You said you weren't impressed, he has nice cuts, but his opponents stink. Then say he's overrated.
I would think that if USC played against higher ranked teams, but being a part of the Pac-10 doesn't really help.
Guess what, Virginia Tech is one of the best defensive schools in the entire country, and he took over that game to a degree. So your argument is moot.

Just because he didn't have a big impact in a bowl game, b/c the rest of USC's unbelievable weapons on offense got more touches (White, Byrd, Jarrett, Smith)... doesn't mean he's overrated. Is santonio overrated when Ted Ginn gets more passes?

BTW, are you referring to this year (not a few years ago), when Cal was ranked highly and then got torn apart against Texas tech?

^lol, that was best argument yet. Hm....

"You can't pretend like you were being nice to him at all. You said you weren't impressed, he has nice cuts, but his opponents stink. Then say he's overrated."

I ddi say that he was overrated, but that's cause I don't get to see a lot of him games (only saw one), and from that game and the highlight reels, I didn't think that he was living up to the praise. Remember, I was asking you guys if this was true, or if he is really that good. I told you guys that I was ignorant about him to start with....

"Just because he didn't have a big impact in a bowl game, b/c the rest of USC's unbelievable weapons on offense got more touches (White, Byrd, Jarrett, Smith)... doesn't mean he's overrated. Is santonio overrated when Ted Ginn gets more passes?"

Lemme find the stats for the game...

Bush:
Rushing: 75 yards
Receiving: 31 yards
Returns: Less than 20.

Big players(especially players as "versatile" as Bush) should not be having games like that. Especially in the NCs. And to your Santonio analogy, would Santonio only get 70 yards passing if Ginn was doing good? I doubt it. If he's an important aspect to their team, I doubt that that would happen. <table border="0" cellpadding="2" cellspacing="0" height="16" width="464"> <tbody>
