Is a center sneak legal?
I've always wondered. If it is, that would make sneaking on 4th and 1 a lot easier.
..... If they can't we could kill the clock and keep their O off the field.
Could incorporating the wishbone be a look ahead to next year when holmes is gone and Chris Wells is in the house?
I remember scoring 3 TD's on a center sneak in pee wee. The first couple times, I would snap the ball up to hit the QB's hands and pull the ball back down. The league then found/made up some rule that it was allowed only if the QB actually took the ball and handed it back to me.And, really TG... come on.. do you think if it was within the rules of the game no one would have ever thought to run the "center sneak" before?
Tressel said "dumb ideas"?From the-Ozone, Tress on how he plans to spend the week in Tempe:
""We'll have one more padded practice where we'll be pretty physical tomorrow, then the next three will be in shoulder pads and shorts and that will be more of the fine tuning and getting rid of some of the dumb ideas we came up with when we've had so much time. There will be a lot of fine tuning those last three days," Tressel said."
:)
All that said, I really enjoyed watching Navy and their scheme and would love to see the Bucks use a little bit of that sort of misdirection against ND, especially if they happen to start a play with option right with Smith and Pittman and then pitch back left to Ginn![]()
