2:33pm: ESPN’s Jayson Stark tweets that the Reds are now telling other clubs no trade for Chapman has been agreed upon. Stark certainly implies that the Dodgers believed a trade to be done, adding: “I don’t think [the] Dodgers agree.”

Yeah I was thinking that then I remembered it's the Reds and wondered why, if this dude is any good at all, is he about to be on his 3rd team in 2 years?

I imagine it's like my 73 year old mother that keeps calling my cellphone and getting my voicemail. Every time I check my VM I get the second half of a one sided conversation my mom had with my voicemail greeting before she hangs up in frustration because she thinks I'm ignoring her.

It's funny. And really sad.

But mostly it's funny.
