Reds tidbits 2016 (Sponge Bob Tight Canadian Pants)

And on trying to search the interweb to find out more about Mr. Byrd Williams, I saw that Eddie Milner died. That sucks. I wonder if Dann Bilardello is ok.

That sucks

He was a big part of all those great memories from the early 80's. Especially 1982.

Funny part is in looking at his stats I remember him pretty much sucking dead donkey with a bat in his hand but his career OBP is about 50 points higher than Hamilton will ever get to in a single season.

Makes me wonder if Hamilton would have a better OBP if he could beat some choppers down into AstroTurf and get the 30 foot hops.

Dave Cameron at FG gives his prognostication on where top 50 FA will land. I think he reads this board.

Cincinnati Reds

To be honest, I don’t really know what the Reds are doing. They should be blowing the team up and starting over, given the strength of the NL Central, but they decided to keep their group together at the trade deadline, and keeping Walt Jocketty around for a final year doesn’t seem like the move you’d make if you were going to rebuild. So, maybe they will trade Aroldis Chapman, Jay Bruce, and Brandon Phillipsthis winter, going young and playing for the future, but for now, I’ve just penciled them in for signing Gerardo Parra (2/$18M) to fill their left field hole.

Yeah Dave, we don't what they are doing and neither do they.

Orioles, Reds Have Discussed Jay Bruce; No Momentum Towards Deal

O's GM: "Walt, stop calling me. I don't want him. He sucks"

Walt: "He's left handed"

OGM: "No. Jesus fucking Christ, I'm going to block your number if you call me again"

Walt: "he's left handed and you have a short porch in right"

OGM: "Walt you are embarrassing yourself, you should have just hung it up years ago. Have some pride man, walk away."

Walt: "I'll suck yo dick"

OGM: "sigh"/click
