Reds tidbits 2015 (morgue)

They'd be maybe two games behind St. Louis if the bullpen didn't blow, perhaps even or better but I don't care enough to waste two minutes checking the head-to-heads from the 7th inning on.

I'm just fed up with these bums until deadbeat Uncle Walt is gone. Make the team better. Blow it up. For fucks sake, do something. How many seasons have they played with four relievers because they're stashing a long reliever and a couple +/- 5 tomato cans? How many seasons are they going to play with a bench of four players because two or three guys are "day to day" despite the fact they should probably be on the 60 day DL? It's just fucking comical and predictable at this point.

As much as I'd like to set Walt on fire in a grease pit, I'm getting more and more of the sinking feeling that Bob C is a meddling buffoon type owner that keeps injecting just enough stupidity to keep the soup of suck at a constant simmer.

I think we went from ownership that didn't want to win to ownership that wants to win but doesn't know how.

Which is nice

Let's pretend that Cozart doesn't get injured. Does it really change the course of the shit voyage this team is currently set on? Were the Reds seriously going to do anything noteworthy of a positive variety? Maybe if the bullpen wasn't a collection of misfit toys from fuckland and our best, highest paid position players didn't disappear during crunch time.

Walt...Skin all of them. Dump the bodies in shit river and trade all of their skins for a single pumpkin and proceed to fuck yourself with it.

You could genetically reproduce 9 Ted Williams from his frozen DNA, put the Reds uni on them and they'd suck ass....so, no...Cozart's injury matters not a fuck.

Would be nice to actually see Hamilton start to make some changes at the plate. Drawing that last walk is one of his best at bats ever.

5 stolen bases is just stupid.

Last I looked Hamilton has a 5-ish percent walk rate

That is absurdly bad, even by Reds inflated standards of sucking

He has to basically hit his OBP because he is so completely devoid of power no one will walk him. They just throw it down the middle and dare his sissy ass to hit it (knowing full well he can't).

Worst hitting everyday CF in baseball by a mile. Time to call it like it is and either get two other OF who can hit or turn him into defensive replacement/pinch runner extraordinaire.

Every day starting CF and lead-off hitter he aint.

So basically, the Reds need a whole new outfield. That to go along with a whole new bullpen, starting rotation (minus Cueto,) catcher and front office. They also need about 9 major league hitters that can put up more than 1 run a game. Man, when I think about it, the Reds are closer this offseason to turning this thing around than I thought. Catch the fever!!!
