Any time the Reds sign a guy long term and for a big contract, you can kiss them goodbye. Dead and buried or below .250 BA for the rest of their careers.

Meanwhile they're getting swept in New York because they can't hit, yet again.

Just think Walt, you could have had Byrd last year off the waiver wire. You missed it in the midst of your slumber, the pirates grabbed him and he shoved it up your ass in the play in game. Now you are going to give up actual talent for him after he's already turned back into a pumpkin.

Hell--with Byrd hitting .265 with 19 HRs and 57 RBIs this year, those limp[censored]s in the Reds clubhouse will think Babe [censored] Ruth just joined the team.

Simon will never have more value than he has right now. He's pitching so far over his head it's fuckingrediculous.

Instead of selling high Walt will sign him up for one of his famous 2 year black hole deals.
