See, that's why I used that picture.

It isn't just a bend over and take it in the ass pose, as reasonable as that may be for Reds fans. It kind of a mixed bag; did he just get kicked in the nuts? Is he just exhausted from the daily beat down? Is he bracing for a kick in the nuts?

Could be many things but generally speaking, bent over, head down, hands on knees, I've just had efuckingnough body language all express Reds fandom.

Best part is this fantasy of "contention" at the break won't allow them to be sellers and actually try and improve this burning dung heap of a franchise.

FWIW, rumors.....
Cincinnati is going to be without second baseman Brandon Phillips (thumb) and first baseman Joey Votto (quad) for another month at least, so to stay in contention in a crowded National League Central race upgrades will probably have to be made at the July 31 deadline. And the hunt has already begun.

Jim Salisbury of CSNPhilly.com reports that the Reds have expressed interest in acquiring outfielder Marlon Byrd and left-handed reliever Antonio Bastardo from the Phillies, who are expected to be one of the most active sellers later this month.
