... Or that they've not had a plan, or worked on putting a plan in place for the two months that Votto's been struggling at the plate and making uncharacteristic errors at first. For fucks sake last week he couldn't even bend over and pick up a fucking baseball. But hey, not having a backup for C/1B at least allows them to carry six guys in the bullpen that Price won't use unless it's a +/- 5 run situation.

The backup plan was Hanahan.

Which of course is hilarious on several levels, least of which are that 1) He sucks balls so ferociously that Stubbs could learn from him and 2) He's been injured since Spring Training.

Walts been exposed many times for his "plan" being nothing more than sitting back and hoping like hell something works out. He can go the fuck away anytime now, I've been done with him for some time.

Eh, moving GG caliber defenders from their normal positions to 1B and some role player to their vacated spot is galactically stupid regardless of which position you move the GG from.

Concur that it's nice to see Olaf finally show the fuck up.

but the Cubs (THE MOTHERFUCKING GODDAMN SHIT LICKING FUCKALL OF A TEAM CUBS) can call up some AAA scrub and win.

Can we not just forfeit the second game of double headers? Seriously, why not? prevents bullpen damage and reduces injury risk. Its not like any of our position players came to play, or have any cause to after watching 3 inning of the shit show that is Holmberg.

The saying they have about rented mules... it was created to describe the experience of being the poor bastard that gets called up for the Reds when they want to mail in the back end of a doubleheader. I guess this child's game that's played in pajamas is just too damn hard to commit real effort to twice in one day.
