Anybody that grew up in the late 80s might remember a Royals prospect with elite speed, Gary Thurman. Was supposed to be the next big thing. He was fast, man. Really fast. But he couldn't heat a beach ball with a 2x4. Hamilton reminds me of Gary Thurman.

Some good things going on even in a series loss. Frazier and Votto don't seem to be afraid of hitting the ball right now which is good. I think Hamilton will be alright. He just needs to try to be the best center fielder in the league and let the hitting come back around.
