Reds Tidbits (2012 Season)

That call Grienke keeps getting thats low and outside is brutal. Nothing you can do about that if the ump keeps calling it.

I don't blame Frazier for swinging at that. You have to protect the "Grienke Zone".

He's dominating today.

CB Bucknor is one of the worst. I don't know if any of you remember the game against the Cubs (maybe 6-8-10 years ago?) where Kerry Wood got tossed in the 9th after some really weak, weak calls? Yeah, that was Bucknor.

If the Cuban Missile hits that zone Greinke was getting at 100 mph, Ted Williams couldn't hit it.

The Reds battled today. Not much you can do about a guy throwing great stuff and getting a huge strike zone. These are the types of games that good teams find a way to win.

Suck it up time.

Ewww, mercy! 97mph fast ball to that 87 mph slider. Hahahaha

true, and if these types of games didn't happen as often as they have, I wouldn't complain...but this is far from the first time this team only got 2 hits and a ton of K's

I'm with you. Unfortunately this team is built that way. Struggle, struggle, explode. Thats the way the offense is built. Just a couple of guys at the top of the order that are extremely hard to get out, makes them a serious championship contender.

Dear God, Chapman is a monster!!!!
