Reds Tidbits (2012 Season)

Perfect hitting by Stubbs there. If he continues to go with the pitch and hit it all over the field, he could become a good hitter. Cut down the strikeouts and dont try to pull everything. A lot of work to do but he seems to be getting better.

Sweet play there.

It feels like we're getting close even though not too many are being hit that hard.

Bruce is going to do it again today and someone else is going to pop up somewhere. I can just feel it.

Cueto is going 9 again too.

Holy crap!

Why isnt Cairo playing 3rd? If Valdez is going to bunt and run the bases, I get it. If they are going to swing away you have to put Cairo in there. Not a great improvement by any means but Valdez couldn't hit a homerun from second base!

My God, someone please spike Duhsty's food while he's on the road. Just one bout of Diverticulitis is all I'm asking for.

Johnny Cueto just knows how to pitch. Yes, I've said this before.

He has awesome movement on all of his pitches.

He locates his out pitches very well.

He changes speed and location all game long.

Why can't the other pitchers on this staff learn from this?

Latos and Bronson do somewhat. Leake is streaky. Homer is awful but might have the best stuff on the staff.

Is it the pitching coach or management, or are they just stupid?
