Even if he could only get one half of the bases he gets in the minors. The fear in every pitcher and catcher leads to meatballs to Joey Votto, Ryan Ludwick and Jay Bruce.

Exactly. Would love for him to be ready for the majors by opening day next season. Even if he's defense isn't quite there, we've sacrificed with players like Edwin Encarnacion in the past, why not now? IMO, I don't think he'd be as big a liability as EE was.
