Almost looks like he's slowing himself down too much. He was in nice flow earlier but he's hitching a bit more now it looks like. I could be wrong though Welsh just said he's faster. He's definitely not as fluid as he was earlier in the year.

Nice to see him happy, and I don't have an issue with it. Yet it definitely shows his last few outings are in his head. Hopefully this game helps him put those behind him, but I would like to see him put those games behind him before he gets on the mound.

That slider is why he needs to be starting. The higher in the bullpen they've promoted him, the less he has thrown it.

The young man needs to be learning how to pitch rather than throw.

Dusty said postgame that Bryan Price had a conversation with Chapman after the game. Jeff Piecoro said that Aroldis was disconsolate in his locker afterwards. Larkin on Baseball Tonight not too happy about it either.

On the bright side, Phillips will hit in the first with a runner on tomorrow, since Votto is likely taking one in the back from the Brewers.
