Latos is just plain awful. He has no control in the zone. Constantly either over the middle or belt high (sometime both like the Choo HR).

Is Brandon Phillips the best fielding 2nd baseman ever? I can't believe some of the stuff he does out there.

I keep hearing people say "Latos has great stuff." I haven't seen it. He has some velocity, but it's straight as an arrow with zero location. His curve is a plus pitch I guess, but once again no location. Other than that I can't think of a damn thing he throws that is good.

He's going to have to learn to get the ball down and just deal with the results if he's going to stay in the rotation. He's a liability at the moment for sure.

Even when they score they still love to strand a runner on third with less than 2 outs. Twice already this game.
