He is now at 80 stolen bases at the half way point in the season. After sending away to NASA to do the math, Billy Hamilton is on pace for 160 stolen bases. That would beat Vince Coleman's minor league stolen base record of 145 set in 1983.

He currently has a .405 OBP and a .845 OPS, which bodes well for the future as he progresses through the system. It'll be interesting to see what the Reds do as Hamilton seems ready for the move up to AA, but Pensacola is stacked in the infield with Rodriguez, Vidal and Gregorious, who would be blocking Hamilton at SS.
