Thanks. I know the limitations of my favorite team, but I still find some enjoyment when the opportunities present themselves. You should try it, although that would make this thread less entertaining.

So I could be like you and talk to myself for 4 or 5 months out of the year? No thanks. I like to live in reality and sanity.

I will enjoy my favorite team when they actually lift a world series trophy. I have this penchant for disliking crappiness and even mediocrity. I am strange that way.

Exactly. Making the playoffs was the worst thing to happen in 2010, because Baker got credit and 2 more years on his contract. I realize that most think Baker used the pen correctly tonight, but in my mind he did not. There was no reason to take out Bailey when he allowed the bloop hit to Berry. Bailey was cruising, even w/ high pitch count. Bringing in Arredondo further complicated the problem as he has less than stellar control and average stuff. At worst, Bailey gives up a 2 run bomb and we bring Marshall in up 6-4with the bases loaded and Arredondo still available. Baker ran through 3 pitchers in less than an inning in what was a 4 run game. That is the definition of micro and mis-management. End of speech.

There is nothing miserable about it. They are jokes. If major league baseball actually makes you miserable, you have issues. BTW...my stuff about you was pretty tongue in cheek to.

The Reds never get me down. They also never get me excited when they are in first place in June.

It's all entertainment. I love it that some people think there is actually sincerity behind it.
