Reds Tidbits (2011 Season)

Is it safe to say Hanrahan is our favorite non-Reds player?

I know he's mine. I look at Pirates box scores just to see if he pitched.

From Cards beat writer Joe Strauss on attendance last night (yes, it was cold, against the Pirates, on a school night, opposite the NCAA final, but still ...)

Cards announced Att: 32,007 smallest in Busch III history. Turnstile count barely topped 21k. Maybe 5,000 in park at end of 4-3 game.

Ugh. Ho HD for me either. Worse yet, the program guide says I'm supposed to be watching the Cavs. I don't know why that is. Last time I checked, I'm the only person in this town who ever gave a damn about the Cavs, and I certainly don't want them pre-empting the Reds.

This happened a few days ago too, and apparently it was a Time Warner problem rather than an FSN problem.

I don't think Reds fans are in a position to criticize the Cards fans for not showing up to the park just yet. This is a tiny crowd. It's a chilly Tuesday night against a lousy team, so it's nothing to be alarmed about.

Rolen RBI. 1-0.
