Before today's game Nova was averaging over 4 BB / 9 IP. He pitched 8 innings against the Reds without a walk, because they swung at the first, and second, and third pitches all freaking night. For fucks sake, make him prove he's going to throw strikes all night. Even the pitches he struck us out on were all breaking balls way out of the zone.

Lucky as hell this inning. Now we have a toothpick stick up there to try and tie the game.

Stubbs should have plowed that douche at home. He was a good 3 feet up the line at the plate.

Not saying he could have got there, but why did Bruce give up on that HR? Its barely over the wall if he can get there and jump for it. These guys are too fracking lazy. Thats a major problem right now. All aspects of the game they are too damn lazy!
