Reds Tidbits (2011 Season)

Youth infusion. If this team is going to keep failing, I want to see them fail with the young guys. Get rid of Renteria. Make Rolen a spot starter and mentor for a new 3rd basemen and for fucks sake, bring up Alonso to play left.

After all of that if we can move some pieces to bring in Reyes, do it ASAP.

The pitching is about to get healthy, even if that doesnt mean better. We cant manufacture an ACE out of thin air so we might as well provide some top notch run support for what we have.

When they are going good the Reds young players are outstanding. Votto, Bruce, Stubbs and Phillips to a point can really light it up. A couple more fresh faces sure as hell arent going to hurt.

Reds playing the Cubs pretty well... Then again, it is just the Cubs. But Garza is playing alot like he did last season with the Rays, inconsistent. He can look great at times, and really REALLY bad at times.

Change some of those good young offensive nucleus names to Kearns, Dunn, Reese and Casey and I'd swear it was 2003 or so.

Name of the game is still pitching and they still are among the worst teams in the NL at it. I'd say wake me up when they develop some but I'll probably be dead by then, not sleeping.

Whew BABY!! Reds flashing the leather now.

Brandon Phillips is a God at 2nd base. I've never seen anyone just continually make ridiculous plays like he does. Ozzie was amazing but Brandon is freaking sickening.

yea, and to even come close on that play he bare handed was amazing as well
