Don't give in yet...our closer has been living on the edge for quite some time and is due for an implosion.Bucknut24;1925544; said:feel bad for Bailey, 1 bad pitch is gonna give him the loss
Bucknut24;1925555; said:starting to believe we need another bat more than a TOR guy, i mean we just lost a game 2-1 (and the 1 run came cause's ocab's error), with Bailey and Cueto giving quality starts, we are not getting any consistent hitting at all

Those are nice, cheap options. SS is another matter. Personally, I can live with Janish if they can get a bat out in LF. Shortstops are super expensive. Even a guy who could be on the block like Reyes will have plenty of teams bidding up the price, and he is a butcher in the field. I am fine with a poor hitting shortstop with a plus glove and arm.
They simply need to fix LF. It's a position where it is easy to get help. In the NL, only first base is an easier place to get a bat. There is no reason this team should be playing the guys they are in LF. Heck, I would be happy if Walt simply DFA's Gomes to take him out of Dusty's hands.

At some fucking point all these fucking prospects need to turn into a good MLB fucking player or two. I'm fucking sick of reports from down on the fucking farm while Johnny fucking Gomes looks like a monkey trying to fuck a football out in left fucking field.
Finding inventive new ways to lose to Cleveland's AAA team after tossing the Pirates salad has officially set me the fuck off.
