Rolen might have killed Bruce if he didn't try to go 1st to 3rd. With the exception of Ramon Hernandez apparently, 1st to 3rd should be an automatic decision just about every time against this lousy defense.

...And that's why the shift sometimes works against Votto. There's no way either of those scrubs up the middle gets to that ball without overplaying it.

Niiiice. Thankfully Greene sucks. Good job out there Travis. Made some poor pitches, but giving up 2 for 6 innings is a good start.

Gutty performance by Wood. It hasn't been pretty, but he's come up huge when his ass was on the line. Over 100 pitches now, he should be done.
