I don't mind Gomes walking more and hitting less so far this year, but his inability to find the outfield grass every now and then has really hurt tonight. It also really hurts with him batting #4 behind Votto. With the way him and Bruce are going, Votto might not see another hittable pitch for weeks.

I know we would all love to be able to trade for King Felix, but I think I would rather trade less and find a big hitting LF to hit behind Votto.

I really believe the pitching will come around but we need to keep pressure on other teams and off of our own pitching staff.

And there goes Holliday for a double.
