Reds tidbits (2010 season)

Dusty let's Edmonds PH for Stubbs, Edmonds promptly grounds out to the pitcher with bases loaded to end the inning.

I'm sure Edmonds and his bum Achilles in the spacious BoB CF won't be a factor.

I understand batting for Stubbs in that situation. If you're gonna do that in this situation you have to also bat for Bruce w/ Heisey. Bruce came up for a lefty-lefty matchup anyway, so it was the textbook move. Then, having inserted both Heisey and Edmonds, you could put the former in CF and the latter in RF. That was the better option both offensively and defensively.
