Reds Tidbits (2008 season)

You know it is bad when you see bases loaded in the first inning and you are still willing to change the station because you figure they don't stand a chance driving the runs in :)

and if their 2B doesn't boot an easy double play ball we wouldn't have....again. :(

I'm serious about wanting to contract both franchises, move them to Cbus and start over. We can call them the Central Ohio Fucktards.

Cleveland has the catcher

Cincy has the infield

Take Harang and EV from Cincy and add it to Lee, Carmona and Westbrook(when healthy). Now you've got a great starting 5.

Cincy has the closer

We can cobble a bullpen and a bench together out of the remaing parts

Problem is all the OFers suck ass

Dude you kill me. Damn I can't stop laughing at your posts at the expense of the Ohio baseball teams. Made my day that much better. But I agree, it truly pains me to see the Reds in the state that they are. Get rid of Dunn, Griffey, Arroyo, and Freel. Give the kids a chance to play and see what they do. Has to be better than those guys.

Gotta give Jax some props, I usually don't have the stomach to post anything about this sorriful excuse for a "major" league franchise, he has the intestinal fortitude to continue to post on their pathetic efforts.

I feel sorry for the pitchers, sp Harang, he pitches his arse off and gets no support.

I saw that Detroit options Jacque Jones for assignment, that took guts this group may need something similar to get them shook up, send the whole outfield down and call up some guys from rookie league, at least they would have an excuse to completely stink up the place against major league pitching.

I'm running out of shit to say.

These guys are a fucking disgrace and everyday that Walt forgoes the demolition is another day we postpone the rebuild. We can lose 100+ with any of these guys and we can lose 100+ without them. NO ONE should be safe.

Also I saw that some of the players got a little pissy when Brantly mentioned on the air he thought some guys were just mailing it in. I don't see how there can be any doubt of that.

Calling this team gutless is an insult to the gutless people of the world.

Nobody is more thankful for the continuing struggles of this team than my garden. I've spent the last two evenings out there working with Cat Stevens on the Ipod rather than sit inside and watch this team.

At this rate, I'll have the best fucking garden in Ohio.

EDIT - I mentioned that I might take the radio out there to listen to the game while I worked, but my wife forbid it because the plants would all kill themselves after listening to a game.

Volquez throwing very well once again...

Would be nice to take the series from the Cubs...

Now 6 homers for the day, 7 runs to show for it. :tic:
