Well, the bullpen gave you a shutout today. 3-1/3 scoreless innings pitched by Affeldt, Coffey & Mercker. Unfortunately their peformance came in relief of Arroyo's Home Run Derby.

Playing CF.

I just don't get it, if he is JR's replacement next year he needs to be in RF. If he can play MLB quality CF he needs to be doing it in Cincy, not L'ville.

Fucking Brewers playing small ball and gloving everything in site. That would be like us beating someone that way....extremely unusual.

I swear we just are not meant to win up there.

More disturbing is the fact that we cant score against Jeff frickin Suppan. That guy has high school stuff but is shutting us out. Placement is the key against our Reds. If you dont miss with a fast ball right over the heart of the plate, you'll roll all night. Awful.

On a brighter note, obviously theres Cueto, but Joey Votto with a multi-hit night is good to see. Dunn's been robbed all night. Maybe one of those will get in here in the next 3 innings.

Ha. Then he gets caught stealing. Not terrible imo. Kepp leads off the next inning and if he makes that Kepp could drive in the go ahead run. At least we're trying to do something.
