Parties with Pete Johnson's Beard
After clicking around randomly on scout's commit lists, thought it would be interesting to see who had the best class as of today, August 1st. Rankings are hit and miss in the end (and this is a VERY quick and dirty list, by all means), and rivals and scout will both "update" their rankings again sometime soon, so these numbers should change even with the same commits they all currently have. I know its still really early in the game, but thought this would be entertaining (for me, at least), since the networks haven't started comparing school's classes yet.

Teams that were helped by the rankings changes were Georgia, LSU, Florida, Pittsburgh, Clemson, Illinois, Miami, and Florida State. Only team hurt by the changes was Notre Dame. Pittsburgh has received 4 verbals in 3 weeks. LSU moved from #5 to #3, Pittsburgh went from middle of the pack honorable mention to #7, and Flordia State moved dramatically with its 3 JUCO's. Alabama, Duke, Ole Miss, Texas Tech, USC, and Virginia were added to the list. Arkansas, Purdue, and Virginia Tech are close to making the list.
