McClains's recruitment reminds me a lot of a kid named Isaiah Pead, a player that I recall a lot of buckeye fans would have like to see offered but just wasn't in the cards, my guess is that the staff basically to McClain to wait and see and we are more than likely going to see him commit to Cincy

I definitely remember Pead, a Columbus kid(from the same HS as Archie if I recall) who desperately wanted an OSU offer but saw other kids higher ranked higher than him get that coveted offer and he went to UC with Kelly and tore it up. Great comparison

Pead = Independence
