I have been thinking about that...even if numerous prospects don't pan out, with the way we have recruited from the 2019-2021 classes, I just do not see a universe where we do not have a spectacular offense, particularly throwing in how well the staff gameplans to suit our talents. That being said, Henderson and Pryor is going to be one heck of a two-headed monster in the backfield.

HENDERSON “CAN’T WAIT TO SHOW OUT” WITH PRYOR
Ohio State’s 2021 recruiting class has already surpassed the 2020 class in terms of rankings, and now it’s giving the last cycle a run for its money in terms of All-American Bowl selections.

TreVeyon Henderson, the Buckeyes’ five-star running back commit out of Virginia, announced over the weekend that he accepted an invitation to play in the 21st annual All-American Bowl, becoming the fifth Ohio State commit in the junior class to accept the invite.





Henderson will join four-star running back commit Evan Pryor in San Antonio, as Ohio State fans will get a sneak peek as to what that one-two punch will be bringing to Columbus.

“I’m just excited to get to play beside my future teammates early,” Henderson told Eleven Warriors. “Can’t wait to show out!”

As we touched on Friday, cornerback commit Jakailin Johnson has also been invited to play in the All-American Bowl and could be Buckeye No. 6 to head to Texas in January if he so chooses.

Love how all our commits are going to the AA Bowl... the UA game is just a joke, though I typically like to have a prospect or two there to recruit. We're going to have half the rosters in San Antonio. Love how Henderson and Pryor are embracing the duo mentality though.

WELCOME TO MESSAGE BOARDS, TREVYON! I never put too much stock into what I read on message boards – the cosplay portion of college football fandom where folks masquerade as insiders for anonymous Internet clout.

Don't get me wrong, message boards are fun as hell and arguing with strangers online is basically in my job description, I just don't particularly see a need to give validity to BOOMERSOONER69420 claiming half of Ohio State's current commitments and leans will be flipping to Oklahoma imminently.

But sometimes, those rumors get so damn loud and insistent that it crosses into "holy shit, I actually have to address this" territory. And, well... Welcome to online, TreVeyon Henderson!



To be clear, I don't know if the poster in question is just a fan or an actual Oklahoma insider, but 1) there's often no difference anyway 2) I have heard the "insiders" claiming basically the same thing, so it wouldn't shock me either way.

Look, if Lincoln Riley cuts through the ceiling and heists Ryan Day's historic recruiting class out from under him like George Clooney and Brad Pitt in the 2001 film Ocean's Eleven, I'll just tip the cap. Until then, I'll count my team's #teen riches like Scrooge McDuck and pay no mind to the Oklahoma fan-fiction writers.

As an aside, I respect the hell out of the 2021 class just going ahead and repurposing #BIA for their own use. Cause I mean, they sure ain't wrong.
