We all do brother. He would’ve had a bunch of records, imoI do wonder what might have been if he had been healthy throughout his time at Ohio State.
Yeah, his biggest and main knock will be his injury history. But he blocks well, catches well, reacts well and has blazing speed!Zero fumbles!?!?! That is insane especially considering his production. I have to imagine NFL scouts are going to love that sort of ball security.
Agreed. Heck, this entire season he seemed to relish in taking off the head of blitzers. But that play, in particular was great. Everyone did their job to perfection. They sent the house… seven guys blitzing and all seven of them were picked up.Anytime people talk about his career, they need to mention his block on 3rd on 11 against the blitzing Domer which allowed Howard to have the time to connect with Smith. Awesome play.
Would have liked to see Robert Smith in this offense.Has to be the most explosive back we’ve ever had here along with Zeke. Those are the only two backs that in the open field just start playing the fight song
You are a youngster evidently but he's fantastic for sure. Carlos Snow and Robert Smith had it too but it has been a while since we got to see that. Been a couple other guys but they didnt also have the shake or the carries to go into that categorylHas to be the most explosive back we’ve ever had here along with Zeke. Those are the only two backs that in the open field just start playing the fight song
I would add Zeke Sophomore year… he was a different speed then compared to his Junior year I thought. Still great and had big speed but I thought he slipped a little bit every year after that (even in the NFL).Smith I think is underrated now b/c of his weird college career. In my time Zeke is the clear #1 RB in my opinion but Smith is in the next group
