RB Quinshon Judkins (Official Thread)

Because Ole Miss is spending all their NIL money on new players and not showing love to the current roster.

I get Kiffin is an insufferable dBag and that alone would be good enough reason for me.

Found a model that QJ has a current NIL value at just over $500k a season. Combine that with getting 19 carries a game... Wow, I guess times really have changed. Because that's a dream come true when I was 20.

Welcome to Ohio, QJ.

The 11W forum implied all the talk of locker room trouble and NIL demands were sour grapes from Ole Miss, and Judkins’ NIL expectations were in line with what other Ohio State starters pull down. So that would like up with those numbers it seems to me.

Is this guy more of a hammer type RB? I hope so, seems like it's been a while since we've had a guy who just grinds out 4,5,6 yards every carry. I like Trey, but he's obviously more of a 0 yard, 1 yard, 2 yards, 16 yards type back. Big plays are obviously nice but with our passing offense I think a back who just keeps you on schedule might be more valuable.

No, he’s not a hammer….similar style to Trey.

I’d say Judkins has a little more shake but less top end speed than Trey.

Great pickup, but wondering after actually seeing he had some holes to run through vs what the OSU running backs had..if we shouldn't have tried to get their O-Line coach or O-Linemen in the portal instead

I do think that having a running threat at QB and hopefully a better run scheme with a new OC , the Bucks O-Line will be better, or I at least pray they will be

One of his finalists was ND, and he had an offer from UVA, Vandy and Yale, as a 3star RB from AL. This kid in no way could be a knucklehead with those 2 offers alone. Ole Miss is mad that they are losing 2 of their best RBs, because their HC is enamored with the Portal and paying more for the new guys than his current roster.

No doubt. He’s spent the last few days on Twitter posting about his backup RB, and pointing out his ypc was higher than Judkins (indirectly throwing shade at Judkins). Then he posted a salty clap emoji when Judkins committed to Ohio State. I don’t think I’ve seen a coach post stuff like this.

Going by the Highlights just posted he has considerably more power then Trey has shown. Now maybe not the Hammer of a Miyan but he has more speed and shake then Miyan ever had seem's like a great blend

I don't think it's sour grapes per say, but I think there were likely hurt feelings seeing the numbers their big name transfers were bringing in when he has been there longer. An issue many teams have faced. I can't imagine what it took to bring in Walter Nolen for a year, but I'm sure it rubbed QJ the wrong way too.
