Tough break for my man Meatball. Guess we know why he wasn't playing much. That is definitely tough on depth, looking like the Hayden redshirt is not likely going to happen.

That was my first thought too. Don't see where they have much choice but to use him now. By the way, what ever happened to Evan Pryor? Redshirt?

Yeah I think they will have to pull the RS. Pryor has played a few snaps and though it was a small sample size, it seemed pretty clear why he was behind Hendo, Chip, Miyan and Hayden. Not sure if he has a redshirt left but the official team site says he has 3 years of eligibility left (assuming this is one of them absent a redshirt). Miyan appears to also have 3 years (both got an extra year from the 2020 season), so I believe Miyan and Pryor would have 2 more years after this one.

Feel for Miyan. In the weekly what-have-you-done-for-me-lately arguments about who the best RB for Ohio State is, on this board and elsewhere, Chop doesn't get enough credit for how good he really is all around. He has better break away speed than people give him credit for - has had long runs every year prior to this season, has good vision, gets yards after contact, blocks, and can catch the ball. I really hope he gets a chance to be fully healthy and show what he can do next season.
