RB Miyan “Chop” Williams (Toronto Argonauts)

This bowling ball had a nice run in the CCG.

He had 1 carry for 10 yards and it was just the 3rd best "average yards per carry" for Ohio State RBs in the game.

The cut he made on his 15 yard run was pretty incredible and something I didn't know he had in him. This guy is gonna be a beast.

I love how they thought they'd just knock him out of bounds and instead he veered back in and mack trucks the DB into space. Beautiful finish!

This guy is making a great case to be in the rotation next year. It shouldn't be a forgone conclusion that the frosh will steal most of the carries or that Crowley will start. Our entire offensive backfield will be a battle which should only make the team better

I’m not good at assessing running backs. I thought Zeke looked average in high school, so that alone should tell you how little I know. I was also unimpressed by Miyan but again — the other night tells you how little I know

To be fair, the leap Zeke made from high school to his sophomore year of college was incredible. I personally thought Zeke was borderline top 250 when I watched him. Miyan has went through an absolute body formation (hence the meatball nickname) and seems to be a late bloomer. He looked VERY impressive and I was blown away by his quick twitch and vision on top of how physical he runs. Miyan is going to definitely get some carries in Columbus.

I like the Clarett comparison! The first person I thought of when I saw that run the other night was Natrone Means. I’ll be honest, I wasn’t happy with the offer. Mostly because I thought we had Bijan locked up and I was a HUGE fan of his. So anyone not named Bijan I was disappointed with.

With that said, Miyan had mad a fan out of me! A big fan! I can’t wait to watch him get 20+ carries in a game someday.

I live in St. Louis and watched him a bunch. He was incredible in high school.

Loved his vision and commitment on the run where he immediately cut horizontal to the LOS. Looks like a bowling ball powerhouse who will fight for the starting job and be able to punish defenses when he runs.

Idk who I’d put money on between Miyan, Crowley, Chambers,and the 2 frosh(sorry but I’ve kind of given up on Teague at this point).
