I broke my hand in college on a freaking Friday night walk-thru. Right in half. It hurt like hell but after it was wrapped up in a soft cast, it was just seriously cumbersome and made catching a ball near impossible. I don't know if its as simple as just running with it in his opposite hand because of his running style but we need him at the end for sure.

He figures big for ttun game. Clearly our best RB.

We’re going to need him to have a chance at the NC. Hayden isn’t quite ready yet, but may have to be a necessity

That's what I saw as well, seemed to clearly be a broken finger or two. Having played RB with broken fingers (courtesy of former OSU LB Austin Spitler mind you, so at least I have a cool story), it's not fun but totally possible. But it can really hurt if you get hit there even if it's wrapped up right, so I would be all for sitting Meatball against NW if it helps his recovery...frankly, probably not going to need him against Indiana or Maryland given their style of play, so if we can keep the dude in better playing condition for the scUM game and forward, that is better for all involved. Agreed with everyone above, Meatball is our best RB and we will need him at least in The Game.
