watched this kid the last two years wondering if he would get the offer thinking he was worthy. as LJB said if you have to have a filler, take the Ohio kid...but I view him as more than a filler. kid has game. he’s more bruiser than game breaker. would love to see him after two years with Mick.

He doesn’t play or look the same way he did at Winton Woods. Seems to have more burst, but he’s always been a load to bring down and had stellar vision

true but he was also damn good at WW and I stand by my statement he should have won Mr. Football in Ohio last year. my intial post in this thread said he was a bruiser. he has worked his ass off to transform his body and elevate his game. beyond happy for him.

Oh, I fully agree! He should’ve been Mr. football and his game was more of a Jerome Bettis type. His transformation has turned his game into more of a balanced RB. His ceiling looks like Clarett and his floor resembles Weber, IMO.

We saw him flash vision and power vs MSU and Northwestern, but that cutback run and explosion vs Clemson was completely unexpected. He went from being a quality back-up to legit starting material in my mind with that one carry
No doubt...he runs angry as shit too which is a good combo behind a brutal offensive line.

I woke up in an ambulance after thinking I would tackle a low to the ground, thick truck like that who had all the forward momentum once. This kid is a load. Probably won't be our feature back, but he should definitely get his share of carries the next couple of years.
