From 11W article, bold is mine:

His work ethic is what sets him apart, according to Jermaine Crowell, now the head coach at Belleville (Michigan) High School. Crowell has coached Weber for years.
"Mike is not a vocal guy," Crowell said. "He never has been. He just steps up his intensity in practice and on game days Mikey would run over a grandmother."

Checkers choking, grandmama trucking.....those type of people get angry together and 59-0 happens.

YES! Huge commit. Does not have the speed and "wow" factor of Harris, but he has so many intangible qualities like vision, decisiveness, and fantastic balance/power. Just super tough to get this guy down. Very happy with the commitment and our continued dominance of Cass Tech.

First of all, love this commit. This was actually in the works back on Monday as I shared with a few via PM. Urban and crew closed the deal during the in-home visit. Keep in mind Harris is the composite #32 player in the country. Weber is the composite #99 player in the country. That means the difference between them is razor thin. Let's see how they perform at their respective all-star games when playing against top competition because neither of them had to play against a murderers row in high school, least of all Harris. I was especially impressed with Weber's ability to catch the ball out of the backfield this year...something that is obviously very important in the OSU offense. Kurelic keeps comparing this kid to Carlos Hyde which I don't see at all. Like let's just compare him to the last "big back" OSU had. I see more of an Antonio Pittman-style back here (and not just because he wears #25), if we have to use former OSU RBs as our basis for comparison. My best comparison would be Mike Davis of South Carolina...patient runner who doesn't have elite speed but will pick up tough yards between the tackles and can hurt you just enough on the edge and in the passing game.
